the first commandment forbids making idols and worshipping them. nobody worships the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, although worship is conducted within the chapel, we are not worshipping the image, but the God whom the image represents. This is the reading for this Sunday, pay attention to the actual words of the commandment.
