St Casimir, feast is March 4, is one of the patrons of bachelors. However, these Sisters are named for him. They were originally founded to minister to Lithuanians.

After the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, these sisters sent missionaries back to Lithuania. Their original 3 members were formed by Scranton, PA, IHM Sisters, so they have always had a kindred spirit with the IHMs.
