The best work on their history is that of Josephine Marie Peplinski–a remarkable sister and historian: “A Fitting Response.” It’s in 2 volumes, but Volume 1 is particularly impressive. It is good that there is a beginning of reconciliation between them and the School Sisters of St. Francis.
