Anyone out there like the Wiggles? I think they are just wonderful. They have really helped my son, who has Down’s Syndrome, with gross motor skills and other things. And I have noticed on a couple of their videos there are some children with Down’s Syndrome as well. Way cool!!

Again, I love them. They actually have Christmas vidoes with Nativity in them!!! Imagine that. My son loves to sing with them, and has since he was 9 months old (same with vegi tales

Yes I do like them too! My 23 mo. old has the little guitar and loves it, (i do to :o )

I like the Wiggles. My son (15 months old) loves to dance with them. He does the actions to some of their songs.
Their songs sure are catchy. I find myself humming or whistling their silly songs all the time at work. There’s NOTHING I can do to get them out of my head! Help me!!!

Romp-pomp-a-chomp… romp-pomp-a-chomp!

My 3yo twins love the Wiggles (and do a lot of dancing w/ the program, not just sitting there & watching). BTW–at least Anthony (the blue one) is Catholic (got married in May 2003 & they had a baby girl this February).

I did not know that. That’s pretty cool. Jeff is my son’s favorite. He likes to snore and for us to yell “Wake up, Jeff.”

My 14 month old son really enjoys the wiggles, they were not around when my older kids were younger, I don’t mind them at all as they are not nearly as annoying as barney or teletubbies although I will let my son watch teletubbies sometimes since he does like it. I like sesame street and Mr.Rogers myself as I grew up on those, my older kids still enjoy Mr.Rogers, I’m glad they still play his shows.

My niece and nephew couldn’t stand the wiggles, everytime it came on they wanted it off. They liked blue’s clue’s, bob the builder and veggietales way better!!

👍 The Wiggles are one of the better kids shows on TV. It’s my 4 year olds favorite show.

My 25 year old sister (who is as sharp as a pencil, by the way) is a big fan of the Wiggles. She traded in all her frequent flyer points to fly across the country to see them in concert…I can see that they would be good for children, but I am at a bit of a loss regarding Kathleen’s interest! Still, I am sure that it is harmless-isn’t it?

My little girl absolutely loves the wiggles. She has several of their videos. We saw them perform live in Charleston, S.C. last year. They put on a very good show. I also like their christmas video-“yule be wiggling”. Alot of references to christianity.

PAX CHRISTI

My kids like the Wiggles also. Although they prefer the old ones to the new ones that are on now. They love the veggie tales too. Although we don’t watch that much t.v.

My daughter (5) loves the Wiggles. I thought they were OK… sort of “low budget”- until I saw their Christmas video “Yule be Wiggling.” I too was so impressed that they were unapologetically Christian… with the Nativity scene and songs that mention Jesus. They sang “Gloria- In Excelious Deo” (sorry about the spelling!) That did it for me! All the American kids shows (Barney, especially) have Christmas shows that completely ignore any religious meaning to Christmas (and Easter for that matter). Watching these, you would think Christmas was all about Santa Clause and Easter was all about eggs and the Easter Bunny. Thank god for the Wiggles!

The wiggles are a great kids band. Anthony is a devout Catholic and even has a tattoo of the Virgin Mary which he hid from his fans for many of years.

You just resurrected an 8 1/2 year old thread! That has to be a record. 😛 😉 😃
