Well, I got turned down for another job today because I cannot discuss “options”, meaning make referrals for abortions, with patients.
I’ve been looking for a nursing job for 3 months now . . . I’d appreciate your prayers.

Good for you!! I know this must be hard for you but you will be blessed because of it. Have you thought of going to the couple to couple league’s site?> They have a listing of prolife facilities as well as doctors all over the US. You might find some thing in your area. Just a thought

We are cheering you on!!

I’m so sorry to hear that but I also believe you will be blessed in the end. It would be hard to live with it if you had to compromise your pinciples. Hang in there.

God Bless,
Nicole

Thank you for the encouragement. I know God has something for me, and I’ll find it in His time.

This is precisely the right attitude. It took me many months – seemed like an eternity – to find a job to replace my current one for when the contract expired. My father’s advice was this – God takes care of His own: pray, pray, pray. :gopray: With God’s help I did find a new job that starts the same day my current contract expires! :dancing: Only God could have planned this so well! Have faith and it will all work out. There may be a reason you are having a gap in your employment that only God understands. Keep looking, sending out your resume, and above all pray for guidance.

Your courage is amazing. Good for YOU!!
:clapping:

I myself recently went through a very tough time finding a job.

Somehow :o I was amazed that the perfect job for me landed right in my lap… at what seemed to be the last moment…

Of course, I had to do the ground work. And that, you’re already doing as best you can. And that is all that’s needed, along with trust.

That all probably sounds like just a lot of pablum, but I hope it doesn’t.

What kept me going through all that was not only making it a point to go to weekday Mass as often as possible (between trips to the Unemployment Office and government agencies for help)… but the little signs I put up as post-it stickies on my bathroom mirror that said these quotes:

The Lord Himself goes before you. Be strong. Do not fear. Do not be discouraged. The eternal God is your refuge.
– 1 Peter 5:10

Let Your steadfast love be upon me, oh Lord, even as I hope in you.
– Psalm 33

Courage is fear that has said its prayers.
– Bishop George

God will not be outdone in His generosity.
– Anonymous??

AND THE BEST EVER –

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You.
– from the Divine Mercy chaplet as given to St. Faustina by our Lord, Himself

Not to worry… do not be afraid… the Lord definitely DOES have a particular job for you in mind…

actually… there are at least one from which you may choose.

:bible1: :coffee:
Seek and ye shall find.
Knock and it shall be opened.

but you knew that already. 😃

I look forward to hearing which job you decide to take. Meantime, I’m praying for you and your job search.
:gopray2: :gopray:

Praise God for your faithfulness. God uses people like you as an example of true love, a witness to the world of your relationship with Him.

I know it seems hard, but your example speaks volumes. A true life example of standing up to the culture of death can mean more to a developing Christian than any Scott Hahn Seminar or Life on the Rock episode (No offense to those fine ministries, of course).

I will pray that he blesses you abundantly for your unwavering commitment to Him. He is the source of all life, of all happiness. You have chosen the better part.

In Christ,

Arso

GOD BLESS YOU!!!

We need LOTS more ppl like you in the medical field to help end this practice of murder! I will pray for you!

I would use the resources available locally to find the pro-life medical offices around you and apply to them directly even if they are not hiring at them time. You never know when something might open up and if they know you are pro-life and willing to suffer for it, you could end up getting a job real quick.

“Blessed are the persecuted for they shall see God.”

Trust in God and he will provide. Do what you can to advertise your availability and be open for the moving of the Holy Spirit.

God bless you.

Note: I’ve been working for several months now with a developmentally delayed little boy, doing home health care. He’s very affectionate, a joy to be with, and reminds me of baby Jesus frequently. He’s the kind of child that Planned Parenthood would like to eradicate, since he’ll always need some kind of help from society to make it. But children like him have a lot to offer us. I feel very blessed to have this job.
Thank you all for your prayers.

Nursing? Wow. Jobs are easy to get there if you are a nurse.

Try Information technology. Now THAT takes a greater amount of trust in God for employment.

I’m very proud you are standing up for your beliefs. God will help you find the right nursing job. Good luck.
Have you thought about working at a hospital? Like in the NICU? They make good money, and work with miracle babies everyday.

I too work in a field with individuals that Plannned Parenthood and the Cultur of Death would like to eliminate. Most of our individuals are adults, but it’s a wonderful job.
I used to supervise a house with a women with sever CP. We had to feed her and do everything for her. She’s in a wheelchair. She is a great joy and blessing.

Have you ever thought of becoming an RN for a company that serves people with disabilities? Companies Must have an RN or LPN to look after the “clients”. Staff are there with the people but the nurses are usually on call if something happens.

I admire your courage. Have you thought of working for a medical helicopter transport company? My husband is a pilot for one and they are ALWAYS short nurses. They usually work a 48 hour shift and I don’t know if this would work for you and your family situation. Hope you find work soon.
