Urgent Prayer Request and Advice

Sorry if this is a long story, but I’m desperate for advice.

I got pregnant to my high school sweet heart at 16 years old. We got married (court) right away and have been together ever since. The begin was ruff because we keep getting pregnant while still learning to grow up. We both partied and did drugs, I cheated on him (not sure if he did). Then with my third pregnancy I found God. It took him awhile, but the last year has been the best. I has been real religious. We go to regular confession, mass as a family every week. We pray has a family everyday. We have been active with our church and the whole Christian community. I homeschool my children. I’m am now 24 he is 25. However my husband has still been dealing with alcohol abuse. We got in a fight over his drinking and I left for the weekend to stay with my mother and 16 year old sister. After I left, my sister told the neighbor that a few years ago my husband tried multiple times to have sex with her (by fondling her…her being about 13/14 years old), the last time being about 1yr 1/2. Now the social workers will get involved and we have no idea what is going to happen.

I’m lost, can you imagine my world crumbling in? Please pray for me and my children and any advice is welcome.

My prayers are with you and your family.

If I may suggest, talk with your parish priest, a priest you are comfortable with or a religous sister. Even a trusted friend.

If willing, see if you husband is willing to go to counceling. The church has some wonderful people in it that can help!.

Jesus arms are there around you!.

I’m so sorry…I can’t offer advice, but I will pray !

From what I read in your post, you and your husband have been through quite a lot already…and God helped you with those burdens. He will take care of you now as well !
