My 1st wife and I were married in a Methodist church. My wife was a unbaptized member of this church–she only attended sporadically with friends. I was not a member of this church but was raised/baptized in the Church of Christ. Based solely on this info–would this be considered a valid marriage in the eyes of the Catholic Church?

Thanks so much for your time and efforts here:)
Dear Thestickman,

The Catholic Church would consider your first marriage to be valid, but not sacramental since your wife was not baptized.

Should you desire to marry a baptized woman, there is a dispensation that you could qualify for. Contact your local priest.
