Perhaps “Walking following the teachings of Christ” has more meaning to you?
I think that is 100% compatible with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
I can’t see where this “concept” would be against Church teaching…Since the Spirit of Christ is Love and so to walk in the Spirit of Christ is to walk in the Spirit of Agape Love.

This how I read it. We walk in Love by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through our Baptism and Confirmation, we have received the Holy Spirit. As long as we allow the Holy Spirit to guide our life, we “walk in the spirit of Christ.”
