unlike Paris, I’m on Atkins
3 sausage and a hard boiled egg for breakfast (6 am–two cups of coffee an hour before breakfast, not Atkins, but very necessary)
chicken and homemade carb-free cole slaw for lunch, iced tea w/lemon
cottage cheese for snack
toss-up between rotisserie chicken (it smelled so good) or some of the beef I am browning for soup for supper, with a large salad.
need some carb with evening snack to go with my metformin, so it will be 4 high-fiber crackers with cheese and 4 sausage bites.

you made me hungry, think I will get some lo-carb yogurt & celery + radishes to dip.

all that protein and salads is paying off
just got back from shopping
AND for the first time in 20 years I bought pants and shirts with a size beginning with 1 instead of 2, in a normal store, not a fat lady store. yeah

Breakfast - black coffee and bagel

Lunch - leftover home made chicken enchalada and mineral water.

Supper - whatever the boys are cooking …

I am doing “body for life” again (bodyforlife.com), so had an EAS vanilla shake for breakfast, a ham sandwich for lunch, and an EAS cookies and cream shake for midafternoon snack. Still meals to go, hmmm…

This is too funny…but I’ll play along:

BREAKFAST: toasted low-carb Dakota seeded bread (Great Harvest) topped with fresh-ground organic pb (Whole Foods) + coffee

LUNCH: tuna salad

kids-home-from school SNACK: usually eat 1or two of the chocolate chip cookies I baked for them (from “David’s Cookies” dough)

DINNER: don’t eat it–but usually indulge in 1 bottle of Vitamin water. (am making Chicken Marsala + capellini alfredo + sauteed veggies for the family)

:clapping: BRAVO!!!

For breakfast I had Fiber and Flax cereal with a handful of granola, some nuts and a sprinkling of cinnamon.

No snack except two bottles of water while working out

Lunch was a grilled chicken quesadilla with salsa and a half-diet/half-regular coke

Afternoon snack is a bottle of water and 4 oz of OJ

I haven’t started thinking about dinner.

Honestly, I’m so upset today I love to eat a whole pan of brownies but I won’t.

edited to add: I forget the lots and lots of coffee I had this morning!!

Breakfast I had a pumpkin muffin and a glass of Diet Coke (that’s my coffee)

Snack was the rest of DS’s pumpkin muffin and banana.

Lunch I had a PBJ with baked Lays and a glass of milk.

For dinner we’re having salmon, baked potato and probably green beans.

Breakfast: Organic whole-wheat toast topped with peanut butter and sliced banana, orange juice, coffee, vitamins

Lunch: Black bean soup, half a turkey reuben on rye toast, water

Brought back memories. DH and I use to go to a pub that served Deli Style sandwiches…they made the BEST Ruebens in the world.

I miss going to the pub! :crying:

Yeah, this one is pretty good. It’s been open for several decades, all dark wood, original tiles and murals, etc. The current owner was walking around talking with the regulars all night. We had “real” dinners (crayfish pasta for DH, chicken picante for me) which were tasty, but their burgers are definitely the superior item. But DH was able to get his black-and-tan beer so he was happy. 🙂

Are those the little cups from Dole? I love those things! My boss got me hooked on them.

I have to tell you, I have low-carbed for about 2 years now and LOVE it.

Will I ever be a size 2 or 4? No. Even when I was young(er) and much thinner, I had “battle ship” hips. But it is nice to wear a size that starts with a 1, indeed.🙂

As for what I ate yesterday:

B- coffee, with cream (another low-carb perk). I have it in a big cup with Hallmark’s Maxine on it.

B2- Coffee, peanut butter on low-carb bread.

L- A choice of ham, turkey, cheese, certain veggies and certain fruit from the preschool’s Thanksgiving feast, leftover. I was planning on going home, but couldn’t, so this seemed a reasonable alternative.

S1- An “illegal” orange. Oranges and bananas make me happy.

D- Low-carb tuna salad.

S2- Ice cream, low-carb.

Breakfast: Hmmmm… Yummy homemade cornmeal pancakes, plain yogurt with peaches, generous glass of milk, and 1/2 cup of coffee with milk.

Lunch: Tuna salad on wheat bread, orange slices, fresh tomatoes galore!

Dinner: Probably some leftover spaghetti with homemade sauce and fresh string beans.

I will probably snack a bit this afternoon and evening on some nuts and fruit too, to keep this pregnant-mama stomach from being empty during a symphony concert I am playing tonight!

I have to ask, why can’t you call it dinner? Is this cultural? I’m just curious. 🙂

Today’s menu:

Breakfast - Coffee, coffee, coffee and two PBJs

Luch - Coffee and more coffee and a bowl of soup

Dinner - Still more coffee (I can quit anytime I want. Really.) Prime rib, mashed potatoes, and those ubiquitous mixed vegetables

Snacks are usually a bit of fruit.
