I recently joined a company in which I am able to be the “operator” of a particular location. I would not get a salary but rather get a percentage of the revenue that my location brings in. It is a wonderful opportunity. I left my previous employment about a week ago. My delema is that when speaking with one my relatives about the company and my new endeavor, my relative responded that the company I joined is a contributor to Planned Parenthood.

The company I joined is a large international company based out of New York. Their main business is travel and has nothing to do with abortion or the health field. Am I being morally corrupt to continue with this company. I really don’t want to leave seeing that I have just started and it is a wonderful opportunity and I have no back up as far as employment is concerned. But I also don’t want to contribute to anything that would assist in the practice of abortion.

What should I do?

Tax collectors and soldiers had a similar question. They worked for a government that did some pretty terrible things. They asked Jesus what to do:
Tax collectors also came to be baptized, and said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Collect no more than is appointed you.” Soldiers also asked him, “And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Rob no one by violence or by false accusation, and be content with your wages” (Luke 3:12-14).
Your situation is no different. You are not involved in immoral activity and you do not approve of what they do with their money. Perhaps you will have a positive impact on the company by being there.
