Anyone have any idea?

A black canvas wraped around a marble containing are universe, doesnt hold up to scientific critisisom. 😃

Because light is not visible as it travels through a vacuum. Light is only visible when looking directly upon its sourse or reflecting off matter.

Because God, knowing in advance the entire history of salvation, realized that staring up into a black sky dotted with white lights would inspire more contemplation of His eternal majesty than anything else. 😃

Matter reflects light. In space, in places that there is no matter it appears black because there is nothing to reflect the light given off by the stars.

Free Soul Hope,

If the universe were infinite in age and extent, then in any direction we looked we would see a star and the night sky would be as bright as the daytime–as bright as the sun, in fact. That it is not is called Olbers’ Paradox. The reason the night sky is dark is that it is finite in age and therefore in (visible) extent. If you look in a random direction your line of sight will go past between the individual stars to the primordial background glow of the Big Bang, which is (I think) in the radio part of the spectrum.

I Think this would be the correct anwser. Because why should an absense of what we call light mean a dark universe?. Im trying to figure out if its a law on its self, or a given law. I think all things in the universe are there to contrast and cuase definition,( it seems everything is dependent on contrast and definition) meaning that it doesnt have to be dark, or that a star should give light, but only does because it has been given law to do so and is dependent on eachother for there existense(Defining eachothers existense, relying on eachother to exist). Im wonder if this could be turned into a strong inteligent design theory. What do you think?

The Contrast Theory.

Or maybe it is already a philosphical Theory?.
