Why Sir Alec Guinness became Catholic

There have been lots of interesting Hollywood folks who became Catholic or got stronger in their Catholicism as they got older. Jane Wyman, Loretta Young, Dolores Hart, Martin Sheen, i’m sure there’s more.
 
What a heartwarming story! In an interview with Mother Angelica, Dolores Hope confirmed that John Wayne did become a Catholic before he died. I also heard that her husband, Bob Hope, after attending Mass with her for many years as a non-Catholic, also converted before he died.
