Your prayers needed

HI all.

Without going into detail right now, I need your prayers for my son. He’s been in the hospital since Tuesday (I just got home for shower). He might need brain surgery today. I find out after one more CT scan this morning.

He has a blood clot from an injury that is pushing on his temperal lobe which is pushing on his brain stem. If it gets bigger, then he will have surgery today. We will find out in a couple of hours after the CT scan.

If you all could pray for him, his name is Jesse and he is 12. Also, if you could pray for his siblings, Jack and Kayleigh (both younger), they really don’t understand this and are freaking out.

I will certainly be praying for your son. I can’t imagine how frightening this is for you–I will be praying not only for your son’s health & recovery but your family’s peace, too.

So far so good. We are not doing surgery. We are not totally out of the woods, but the surgeon says for now we can plan on him leaving Friday if his daily tests continue to improve, which they are.

How scary for you! I’m glad things are looking up. I will pray for your son and your family.
 
Glad things are better. Blood clots are scary things. My husband was just in about two weeks ago in the hospital for that also, but in the lungs. I will keep Jesse and your family in my prayers.
 
you and your family are in my prayers. I can relate to a clot on the brain seeing as I had one last yr. that caused a stroke.

OK.

Everything is fine now. The Doc said that he will get one more scan on Friday, right before being released, just to make sure.

So, it seems that unless something rare happens, we are out of the woods.
