A couple of weeks ago i had an after school detention as a punishment for non stop messing about in class, it lasted 1 hour 30 minutes, this did not include the 5 minutes to get to the detention room, once there we had to stand behind our desks while the detention teacher checked our school...

thanks for the advice, i just think a 4 hour 30 minute saturday detention is a harsh punishment for getting 3 detentions in a term , my school says that getting 3 detentions in a term is TOTALLY unacceptable hence the harsh punishment, can you believe i still had to serve the original 1 hour 30...
