**Clift: I think the issues that brought you into politics were the environment and also choice. [You had] five children in six years, a Catholic background…Was embracing choice an issue with your family?
Pelosi:
To me it isn’t even a question. God has given us a free will. We’re all responsible for our actions. If you don’t want an abortion, you don’t believe in it, [then] don’t have one. But don’t tell somebody else what they can do in terms of honoring their responsibilities. My family is very pro-life. They’re not fanatics and they’re not activists. I think they’d like it if I were not so vocally pro-choice.

How do people by-pass their reasoning power to use this type of thinking to justify voting for abortion? (or pro-choice, if you will)

Sure, God gave us free-will, but that doesn’t mean He blesses everything we choose. He also gave us rules about how to use that freedom, and there is a hell for those who make the wrong choices. Does Mrs. Pelosi realize that? or does she just choose to ignore it? Does she understand what it means to take responsibility for your actions? I could just tear my hair out! :banghead: I do fervently hope that in her vocabulary she would consider me a fanatic!

Just put any moral choice into her sentence and see if it makes sense. “If you don’t want …to speed…, you don’t believe in it, [then] don’t …do it… But don’t tell somebody else what they can do in terms of honoring their responsibilities.”

“If you don’t want …to abuse children…, you don’t believe in it, [then] don’t …do it… But don’t tell somebody else what they can do in terms of honoring their responsibilities.”

How much sense does that make? Could we actually have any kind of a sane society if we applied that kind of reasoning?

She’s obvioulsy on the fence to try to get both votes ( Pro-Life… promurder ).

Sickening really. Just letting ppl know what they are gonna get if the vote Dem.
