The aborted baby was 19 weeks old at the time of death, said attorneys for the county, and under such circumstances, California law does not permit issuance of a death certificate and a permit for burial or cremation could not be issued.

Every aspect of this story is disturbing. The abortion itself most of all. But also the “disposal…” But what alarms me is the law refered to in the quote above (from article via link in post #1). There must now be countless laws that dehumanize babies in the womb.

It reminds me of pre-Nazi Germany.
As a child, I thought Hitler was the main culprit responsible for the Holocaust.

As a youth, I learned more about the Nazi’s and realized there were many people who had chosen to cooperate w/ or even promote evil.

In college I read more about German society during the time leading up to WW’s I and II, and I realized too many “good” people had either looked the other way, or tolerated the implimentation of laws dehumanizing various groups of people, particularly the Jews.

My view of abortion in America is what I (and others) call the Holocaust of the Unborn. We are living in a Culture of Death and as Catholics we are called to promote the Culture of Life.
I know we’re not “too late.” Any and every good thing we do toward saving 1 or more lives is valuable. But there’s so much to be done!

Too many “good” people have for too long tolerated evil laws. We MUST ban abortion and we MUST ban any and all laws that deny the unborn the same human rights to which all people are endowed by their Creator.
