1 Corinthians 4:6 - Sola Scriptura proof text?

This site claims that 1 Cor 4:6 defends sola scriptura:

“Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become arrogant in behalf of one against the other.” (1 Corinthians 4:6)

Even if his misunderstanding of 1 Cor 4:6 was correct, Since Scripture never says that Scripture Alone is the Sole Rule of Faith as the false doctrine Sola Scriptura claims, they are arrogantly going way beyond what is written in Scripture.
