1000 year reign

Hey scripture enthusiasts,
the 1000 year described in Rev. where in Church teaching does that refer to the Church on earth? Need this for another thread.Thanks

IMO, I see one of the fulfillments of the 1000 year reign as referring to the first thousand years of Christianity where the Catholic Church was essentially the only reigning Christian Church (I know there have always been heresies). Then, almost exactly 1000 years after Our Lord’s death, the Eastern Schism occurs. Since then division has increased. Rev.20:7 speaks of Satan being loosed after a 1000 years; and he is a sower of division.

Don’t think there is any one Church interpretation of the 1000 years.
