O Purest Mother, Our Lady of Mount Carmel… You who have shown such tender love and concern for Your most unworthy child… pray for us. Amen.

What a beautiful video! Thanks for posting it. Tears welled in my eyes when it spoke of Mary as the Bridge between the Old and New Testaments, the Bridge that brought Christ to the world.

My sister was born on the feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel, July 16,1959. She was very premature and in danger of death, but one of the nurses in the hospital gave my mother a scapular and told her to wear it and pray to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. She did, and my sister grew stronger every day. Six weeks later she came home from the hospital, a healthy, happy baby…She was named Constance Mary after our Lady

Today my sister Connie is seriously ill. This is her 49th birthday and I don’t think she’ll see 50. I just got off the phone with her, She is in good spirits and loves the new brown scapular I gave her (the old one was so raggedy). Please pray for her and ask Our Lady of Mt Carmel to come to her rescue once again.

I remembered my grandma wore a big scapula around her neck. I didn’t know how long she had worn it but it must’ve been decades. With devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the love for the Mass, she had a wonderful happy death!

Few hours before passing away, she was able to receive the Holy Communion as usual. The last 3 breaths of her life, she was in my mother’s arm. My mother saw her last breath after 1:00am.

I am trying to follow my grandma’s devotion.

Did you know that the last day on earth that our Blessed Mother, the Immaculate Conception appeared to St. Bernadette was the Feast Day of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel?
See below (in my signature area) as to what St. Bernadette said about this:

ohhh. I didn’t know that. Thanks!

On the 16th July - yesterday for me - my 19 year old daughter, Rowan Carmel, told me on the phone that she intends to return to Church.

I have been especially praying to Our Lady of Mt Carmel for her to do so.

How beautiful and wonderful that Our Lady of Mt. Carmel was letting you know that she had taken your prayers to her Son.

Happy Feast Day to all my Carmelite brothers and sisters and to all who wear the Scapular!!

Westy, I will keep Connie in my prayers too. Constance Mary, what a beautiful name. I will ask our Lady of Mt. Carmel’s intercession on her behalf. :signofcross:

i have faith as im sure the mother of jesus did in that the holy spirit was true to his word and would guide them threw life i have learned such things as the three wise men once being in the presence was maryies first sign that she would be taken care of from forces beyond her understanding after several of these types of miricles she would gain beliefe and guidence from the holy spirit

Thank you, Allhers. Your prayers are deeply appreciated.
