Just something that somebody posted on Facebook today:
- First job: Barista. I loved it!
- Current job: Social worker.
- Dream job: Mayor of New York City. Failing that, I’d like to make ice cream.
- Favorite food: Savory—fish and chips; sweet—sticky toffee pudding and custard. (Don’t believe what you’ve heard about British food: it’s great!)
- Favorite dog: Hot dog. (Not really a dog person!)
- Favorite footwear: Bare feet. Sorry if that’s cheating, but there isn’t really any footwear I actually like!
- Favorite chocolate bar: Ritter Sport marzipan or any other European chocolate-covered marzipan.
- Favorite ice cream: Impossible to choose between chocolate (with chocolate chips), coffee, and pistachio.
- Your vehicle color: I don’t have a car.
- Favorite holiday: Independence Day because I love what it celebrates, but I do hate the hot weather!
- Night owl or early bird? Sometimes I have to work nights, but I love early mornings. I like to get up in time to see it getting light.
- Favorite day of the week: Sometimes I have to work weekends, so I love it when I get to be off work on a weekday.
- Tattoos: This may sound funny, but if I were white, I think I’d get a tattoo. But I don’t think a tattoo would look good against my darker skin tone. If I would get one, I think I’d choose a quotation from a speech by Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr., or Winston Churchill. Or possibly Am I Not a Man and a Brother? by Josiah Wedgwood.
- Favorite color: Blue?
- Do you like vegetables? Of course!
- Do you wear glasses? I used to wear contact lenses, but the guy who turned out to be my future husband told me I looked cute in glasses, so I ditched the contacts and saved myself a lot of money and hassle.
- Favorite season: Spring. I love seeing the world coming back to life.
