It’s says:
“Definitely not. An abortion kills the life of a baby after it has begun. It is dangerous to your life and health. It may make you sterile so that when you want a child you cannot have it. Birth control merely postpones the beginning of life.”
It’s interesting to read this in retrospect and see how the slippery slope is a definite reality.

This is a gem. They must have forgotten how they were trying to justify the pill.

I had a copy of a letter written by Sen. Kennedy earlier on in his career where he opposes abortion.

🤷

Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.

That is brilliant. Nice work finding that 👍. Lets see them get around that.
Easily:

“the devil’s advocate” said:
“baby” used in that context was just a generalized term for the growing embryo or zygote; definitely human life, but definitely not a human person. Thus science has developed, and our views concerning the lack of personhood of the unborn tissue mass (referred to in its various stages as fertilized egg, embryo, zygote, and finally baby, once it most closely resembles one) has not changed.

Really, it doesn’t take any thought at all to come up with their arguments. As for when personhood exists … well … I suppose, like any politician, they would shift the issue. I have heard the argument that while inside the mother, the ‘tissue’ is entirely dependent on the mother (as a parasite) for absolutely everything; once outside the mother, it is its own separate entity, capable of sustaining itself without parasitic properties.

Of course, this argument is stupid, but that’s the best I’ve heard.

They’ve come a long way, baby. Planned Parenthood, as well as many now-pro-abortion politicians, at one time opposed abortion. Then the SCOTUS god spoke to them in 1973, telling them it was ok, so now they’ve all done a 180 degree turn. How nice to be flexible.

Study: Women on Birth Control Pill Less Attracted to ‘Masculine’ Men

** A recent study featured in the journal “Ecology and Evolution” claims the birth control pill may have changed women’s taste in men over the years, London’s Daily Mail reported.**
Scientists from the University of Sheffield in the U.K. said the Pill’s hormones have suppressed a female’s interest in ‘masculine’ men, making ‘boyish’ men more attractive.
Dr. Alexandra Alvergne of the University of Sheffield said women taking the pill have altered the way women pick their partners.

That’s very interesting.
