200,000 Muslims protest against bin Laden, finally!

There was a huge rally today of over 200,000 Muslims against terrorism. There were speeches in favor of freedom of expression and religion. Said one speaker “I don’t like those cartoons about Muhammed, but I support their right to print them.” Many were angered at the recent threat to execute a man who had converted to Christianity in Afghanistan. One man commented “this is the 21st century it is insane to kill someone who chooses a different religion. Islam needs to change.” Many carried American flags and praised President Bush’s efforts to bring democracy and freedom to the Middle East.
 
This is very encouraging. Do you have a link? Based upon my acquaintance I knew that there are many many Muslims who hate what Bin Ladin has done. I just could not understand why Muslim people hadn’t spoken out before.

There was no protest of 200,000 Muslims, but thank God, the links are valid - many Muslims have spoken out against terrorism.🙂
