I certainly agree with this. Do you sometimes feel that you have stepped out of earthly time into heavenly “non-time?”
I guess Eucharistic Adoration is a foretaste of what we hope to experience in heaven someday.
When it comes to retreats, our parish created the “Light of the World” retreats that are now done all over the world. I personally didn’t care that much for it, but my husband loved it. The retreat is offered twice a year at our parish, and Protestants attend!
I’m more interested in a guideline for a “Eucharistic Retreat” or a “Day With Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.” I really envy the disciples when I read in the Gospels of how they walked and talked with Jesus for whole days!
