I don’t follow that site anymore. I find it, and forgive me for saying this, prudish. They seem to find everything little thing in a movie to bash. I’m not the kind that enjoys, or even goes to overly violent or sexed up movies. But take 3:10 for instance, the violence was nessasary in this movie, but at the same time not over the top at all.
The website reminds me anymore of dove.com. I’ve pretty much stopped following any kind of reviews because I disagree with them 99.9% of the time.

I enjoy his perspective at times. He is often more on the mark than the USCCB reviews. I also use a few more specific tools on the net for reviewing films my kids want to see, because I am very concerned about sexual content.

I don’t consider his criticism too prudish. He just reviews the overall moral message. Based on what I’ve seen here on the board, I am more interested in 3:10, which my son saw and enjoyed.
