3 Miracles to become a Saint?

I heard that if you pray to like lets say Blessed Pope John Paul the Second or Blessed Mother Teresa and your prayer was answered like a healing that is miraculous or something maybe a conversion this would be counted toward one of the three miralcles needed for Canonization. Is this True??? Also lets say it is and i prayed to one of these and they asked Jesus and through their Intercession my Prayer was granted how would i let the Vatican know?

Im nott sure if this is correct though please enlighten me

I heard it works this way:
1 Miracle = Beatification
2 Miracles = Canonization

Martyrs need only one miracle to be canonized.

Nowadays, usually medical miracles are the ones most considered.

I hope I provided the correct information (based on what I was told in my parish).
If its not, then someone else could address the question better. In the case of Pope John Paul II, its been said that he is responsible for hundreds of miracles. But so far only one (after so much investigation) was lets say “without a doubt” a miracle, which was granted to Sister Marie Simon-Pierre who was cured from Parkinson, which nowadays is really impossible to cure.

Um about letting the Vatican know, im supposing you would contact your local priest. If the miracle seems good, he contacts the Bishop and so on until it reaches the Vatican.
