May watch it if it gets to cable. I try not to watch the broadcast channels except for Football and NASCAR:p

I’m loving the preview commercials…LOL – has anyone bought the box set that has the “preview to season 5” part? I’m thinking maybe I’ll rent it and see if that’s in there…I don’t buy box sets, simply b/c I’d never watch them…maybe the Godfather series someday, but other than that…

Hi Katie!
I get up for work at 2:30 am each morning so I never saw “24” on the networks. I did, however, go shopping the day after Thanksgiving and Best Buy had the first 3 seasons on sale for only $19.95 each and since I had heard good things about the show, I bought all of them. I was on vacation the week after Thanksgiving and spent my entire vacation watching all three seasons…I was glued to the tube! I found it a little far-fetched but full of action. Keifer is a great actor and takes after his dad!! Love the show!!
 
Do you have a date for the start?
I discontinued my TV guide – too expensive.

January 15 AND 16th…2 hour show each night…either 8 or 9 PM eastern time …not sure which start time

HOW oh HOW will I get my kids to bed at 8:00 2 nights in a row?

I notice 24 reruns are on. Anybody watching them…you know…to ease the withdrawal?

Yes! I’ve been watching them on A&E! Can’t wait until the 15th!:yup:
 
I don’t watch 24 when it runs as a series. We buy the box sets and watch 2 shows a night intill the season is done. It gives us 12 nights of great TV. They are so good that we talk about what happened in each season a lot before we allow ourselves to start the next season. We have watched the first two seasons and we have the second two on our DVD shelf ready to go when our regular shows go into reruns. After we our done with a season we loan them out to family so they can enjoy them to.

I am totally hooked on “24”, as is my wife. We have been since season 1, week 1. I loved the premise from the start and have not been disappointed. I was actually surprised they were able to maintain the suspense so well over the years, to the point where I’m really looking forward to this season.

Only two weeks to go!

I can’t wait either! I would love to see Nina come back, she is so EVIL! I also love (ex) president Palmer - love his commercials too - so pathetic that I get all revved up for 24 when I see the insurance commercials! Is it really on 2 nights in a row???

I am also concerned for my kids and the 8 o’clock bedtime - we used to have TiVo but gave it up when we moved. UGH!

It is a 4 hour premier…2 hours on the 15th and 2 on the 16th…not sure of the time though.

Last season it started like this too-- my 5yo (the clock-watcher) was on an 8:30 bedtime…so we put the little one to bed, set him up facing away from the TV with the laptop and a video with headphones…sad, but true…

LOL----I have the same reaction to those AllState commercials!!!
