Mexico police have arrested four people in connection with a helicopter crash that killed a governor, her predecessor as well as three other people, authorities announced Friday.

On Dec. 24, 2018 an Augusta 109 helicopter carrying a group that included the newly elected governor of Puebla, Martha Érika Alonso and her husband, former Gov. Rafael Moreno Valle, crashed on a hill near the town of Santa Maria Coronango in southeastern Mexico.

The helicopter, which was headed to Mexico City, came down about 10 minutes after taking off.

It took them 2 years but they are making arrests, what appeared to have happened is someone monkeyed with the helicopter so it would crash. That was really bad and it happened to a female politician, member of the PAN party which is the so-called Conservative party. Horrible tragedy.
