CHILDREN’S TOUGH QUESTIONS (A TRUE STORY)

I was on my way home from our annual back to school shoe shopping trip to Fox Valley Mall and surrounding shoe stores when I remembered that there was a Planned Parenthood being build along New York street. I had past the intersection of New York and Eola about 1,000 times in my lifetime and could not picture where the building would be located.

I had my four children with me: a fourth grade girl, a kindergarten boy, a preschool boy and a two years old boy and I decided to take a quick detour and drive by to see where the Planned Parenthood building was. We turned onto Oakhurst and I saw 5 women standing on the sidewalk, walking slowly back and fourth. Since we were already there, I decided to park and walk with my children to get a closer look.

“But why would women do this? What happens to the baby?” they asked. I said that since they were taking the baby out before it was ready, the baby would die. “So they are making the baby die on purpose? Do the mothers know ahead of time?” they asked. I said that the workers tell the mothers that it is not really a baby, so the mothers will not worry about doing it. With that, the car erupted with cries of disbelief, even laughter. They said, “If a mother knows that she is pregnant and is having a baby then how could it not be a baby?” they asked. They just could not get over that women would just believe the workers like that.
We’ve had several threads on the use of graphic photographs of aborted babies – with many people saying, “I don’t want my children to see that!”

Frankly, it isn’t the** child’s** reaction that’s the problem – it’s the parents’. If we were willing to look at these pictures and not flinch until we knew – deep in our hearts – what abortion really is, we’d all be energized to put a stop to it. And we’d have no trouble answering the childrens’ questions.

Thank the good Lord for the prayers of all those little children, and the mothers who have to explain to them what the “medical building” is. A judge has ruled that until the City of Aurora has completed investigation, this particular PP site will not open. It is no thanks to our mayor, but to FVPAPP, Pro-Life League, Youth for Truth, and some of the Aurora aldermen (not all of the aldremen, including a couple who profess to be Catholic). The bishops of Joliet and Rockford made appearances and prayed, along with declaring days of fasting of prayer.

What I told our girls, who also know a baby grows inside the mother (We had an issue with, “If mothers eat, doesn’t the food land on the babies’ heads?”): They take the baby out of the mother’s uterus and the baby dies. I also told them what “Andrea” said, that the people who do this lie to the women so they don’t think it’s a baby. And my youngest said rather sardonically for somebody who is only 6, “Well, you’d have to be pretty dumb or pretty scared to think it’s anything else!”

Did anyone hear about the Gianna Jessen story? The Colorado House was planning on celebrating the 90th anniversary of Planned Parenthood in the Rocky Mountains. That weekend before the celebration, God introduced Gianna Jesson to Pro-Life Representative Ted Harvey.

As the story goes Ted Harvey got Gianna Jessen to sing the National Anthem before celebrating the 90th anniversary of Planned Parenthood in the Rocky Mountains. After Gianna sang, Ted Harvey took over the microphone and explained Gianna was handicapped and had cerebral palsy because of an attempt to abort her in her mothers womb. Well you can imagine what happened after that. You can read the story here…

I seriously question the validity of this story. For starters kindergarten boys to not talk in this manner, nor younger children. Second the 11 year old girl who could discuss such an issue would be asking questions from a presupposed position. So how could she do such? Additionally the core issue here is the supposed mother is using a self proclaimed bias to represent the establishment. If the eleven year old were told the actual truth there would be no problem at all. It is clear the mother’s primary objective is hide the truth, and that is the core issue. A good start at Christianity would be a read of the catechism and the annual report from Plan Parenthood. As I recall someone on this thread had a link to the PP annual report.

I totally agree with you on the first story, I do not believe it either… Thought I was the only one… and for the same reasons you specified.

My post was in referrence to the Gianna Jesson story!
