Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;

But deliver us from evil.

Father please allow a pro life president. May this man lead our country and follow your law, your words, and the law of our great nation. Please guide this person toward victory and help restore our country. May they also walk strong in Christ. In your name, Jesus amen!

Praying for an honest election that will not be drawn out and there will be a clear winner. Praying for a president who is pro-life. Praying for peace and not protests.

Would it be major faux pas to point out that God is not a Republican - and not even American?
 
How about a prayer for a president who will make sure that babies with preexisting conditions born to poor families get the benefits of socialized medicine?

(Canadian Catholic here, I am seriously puzzled - and I am not alone here - for so many American Christians supporting Trump.)
