I prayed this last year and it was amazing, it still amazes me now.

Anyone planning on praying it during lent?

If you start on Shrove Tuesday you will end it on the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday, also the 27 petitioning days will be in March and the 27 thanksgiving days will be in April, a nice fit.

Quick question, am I allowed three intentions or just the one?

Fr. Heilman started his US Grace Force 54-day novena already yesterday in order to coincide with the bishops’ synod start. The theme is prayer for reparation for the sins of the Church and our sins too I would guess. I am already half a rosary behind as I fell asleep praying it last night due to very long day 😦

You can have as many intentions as you want. I think one of the past Fr. Heilman novenas had three intentions.

I pray this novena every so often, including the one in Lent to Easter, from Ash wednesday to DMS.

Thanks for this post. This seems like an amazing thing to do during the season of Lent.

I might not get through all 5. If I do 2 or 3 and then 2 or 3 tomorrow I can be caught up before it turns into a huge problem. I’ve had 54-day novenas in the past where I got 20 behind and one time I did 13 rosaries in the car on an 8-hour drive trying to catch up so I could end with the group.

I don’t advocate saying that many rosaries in a row. I don’t think they were the greatest rosaries I ever said. It’s better to say them one a day as they should be said.
Also since I say them out loud, I lost my voice slightly doing that.

No, the radio is off when I pray in the car unless I’m praying along with We Are One Body Radio in western PA. I was also in the car alone (as usual).

I understand Venerable Patrick Peyton, the “Rosary Priest”, always made whoever he went on a car trip with pray multiple rosaries out loud in the car.

Oh I thought you were with others. I prayed mine earlier in the car on the way to collect my children from trampolining.
