More information about Ayaan Hirsi Ali can be found at

It seems she became infatuated with Freud’s “alternative moral system”. Oh, btw, she is opposed to religious schools (Catholic, too
) recieving any government support.
Also, there are some questions as to whether she is holocaust deny-er.
Look, I left Islam, mainly, because of my concerns, of its tendency to cosmis legal positvism. I still respect much about Islam and Muslims. Just as I respect much about Jews and Judaism. I disagree with both, but I understand that, at their core, is a commitment or relationship to One God. There are elements of Islam that I abhorr, like institutionalized rape of slaves. There are also, though, things of Islam that are admirable. For example, the level of commitment that Muslims take to pray 5 times (on time) every day is admirable. I wish Christians could have the same commitment level to their religious duties.
All that I have seen or read about or by Ayaan Hirsi Ali leaves me with a less than positive view of her moral views. She has some valid concerns about Islamic Law and I share many of these views. However, there are faithful Muslim men and women who have been saying the same things for years. She stated in one interview that I saw something to the effect that Islam was bad because she could not have sex with anyone she wanted. I looks like she embraces hedonism, from my perspective, and I will not support that.
