700 club prayer healing

My non catholic friends watch the 700 club and tell me that the healing words that occur daily is the gifts of the spirit in 1 cor. 12 - which is the 9 gifts. Word of knowledge and wisdom and healing.

What do you think?
Does the catholic church have this?.

Or a TV program ? Ewtn?

Of course the Catholic Church has those gifts as well. Those pursuing a deeper prayer life may have a Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, or other of the charismatic gifts St. Paul mentions.

Such gifts can be manifested at a prayer meeting, or a retreat weekend, and even over a cup of coffee with those who share their deep faith in conversation.

I have heard of many of the names you mentioned and read their books. I began going to Catholic Charismatic Prayer meetings in 1976, and continued doing so when I moved. The yearly week-end conferences have awesome speakers; I have been to many of those.

Sister Briege McKenna spoke in the area I live in many years ago. Sadly I missed that.

Father Robert de Grandis spoke and led healing prayers at one of our conferences.

Father Benedict Groeschel was one of the key speakers at a conference here as well.

So much inspiration!!!

The charismatic gifts are alive and well! Thanks be to the Lord!

I am now a senior, senior citizen, and am getting rides to our parish charismatic prayer group as I no longer drive at night.
