r.gonzales:
on the contrary, humanity’s sole purpose in this wordly life is to worship one’s Creator alone without associating anything with Him in worship, believing in Him and obeying His laws, loving and hating the things He loves and hates.

this is what defines humanity… and my wife and i have found it with islam.
How could you worship God that command to kill the unbelievers? Can you proof Allah exist?? Humanity purpose is not for worshipping God alone without associating him with anything but to spread love. Islam has no love, for you God is so far away. You have poor relationship with Him thus you do not know what love is. You love Catholics who keep saying we worship same God but you illfeel with those who say we do not worship the same God. YET your own holy book says that you should kill the unbelievers. We are hells residents. We worship Jesus. We associate God with something (like trinity) etc. YET your ‘perfect’ book teaches you to be cruel more than the unbelievers treat you. Then how you define humanity in Islamic view? Killing apostate is human?

Gonzales, you quoted MY words when you mentioned about my God in tone full of hatred, that I suggest you to meditate. This is good for your health. I sense some kind of hatred tone in you, especially to Christianity, that’s why you lashed it on me. Not that I am offended. I am not easily offended myself. I respect what you believe, but I wonder. Will you be able to see your loved ones perish in front of your face, their blood fills your memory? then you spend the rest of your life crying, but still worshiping the same God that demands apostates should be killed? Do you love your wife and your children? How can you love an invisible God, but failed to love people around you? True Love is never blind, sweet darling. I have a very strong feeling you will find your truth in 2007, but it will be through a great misery. Just remember my words, and be strong, Gonzales.

r. gonzalez,

Since you think we must live by the Old Testament even though Jesus fulfilled the law and showed us the way God truly wants us to live, perhaps you need to ponder this commandment in the law as well:

Leviticus 19:
[17] "You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason with your neighbor, lest you bear sin because of him.
[18] You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

Also, where does the Koran say that apostates must be killed? When I look at the verses dealing with them, I read them as God will do the judging and their final destiny will be hell. The killing of apostates is found only in hadith. I thought the Koran was the clear guidance? Some Muslims apparently think it’s ok for only an Islamic government to carry out that penalty, but others believe it’s up to the family or any other Muslim…isn’t that usually what the reality is? So what IS the real teaching? It’s not even in the Koran to do it, so how did it get to families killing their own children? On an issue this huge, don’t you think Allah should be the judge of a soul rather than mere mortal men?

I’ll leave you with a few verses from the Old Testament Psalm 51:
[6] Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward being;
therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.
[10] Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and put a new and right spirit within me.
[11] Cast me not away from thy presence,
and take not thy holy Spirit from me.

P.S. He wasn’t talking about Gabriel
