9-Day Christmas Novenas start Dec 16th. Have you done a Christmas Novena in the past?

This is my first year doing the 24-Day (advent) St. Andrew Christmas Novena.
I first learned about Christmas Novena(s) this year in late November.
Who else has done the St. Andrew Novena in the past?
What other Christmas novenas have you done?

“Beautiful Catholic Prayers” has added two Christmas Novenas for this season:

St. Andrew Christmas Novena

A (short) Christmas Novena

The 9-Day Novena starts Dec. 16th.

I started to do the St. Andrew novena and then I missed a few days and stopped. 😦

The St. Jude Novena starts Christmas Day and runs through Jan 2nd. I will do that one, as St Jude is my favorite saint.

I can’t tell you how many years I’ve done this same thing. I find the long Advent novena and the 15 daily repetitions to be one of the hardest Novena’s of all. It is so disappointing to miss a day I get too disillusioned with it.

Thankyou for the shorter Novena, OP. I will start that now with just the one prayer per day so as to have a better chance of succeeding! :heaven:
 
I am wondering how to send this to my Facebook page. It used to be an awful page with vulgarity and bulling. I stated posting “better stuff” and it has gradually improved-not perfect-but better. Anything I can add to my facebook page is helpful in a turnaround from crud to cross. Thanks-MEB:D

I added a Facebook share button to the Home page where you should be able to create a post about the novenas on your facebook timeline.

Go to the Home page hereand then click the share button.

If Facebook doesn’t use the correct pic as shown in the above post, cancel and try the button again. My first test of the button generated the wrong image.
 
I got it and have already shared it on my facebook page. For anyone that has a FB page it would be a good way to evangelize a little. Thank you so much.🙂
