A Challenge to all Religions

I have a question for the various religions here.

Can you provide one shred of objective, scientifically/logically verifiable evidence that your respective religion is true and superior to all others?

Trying to scientifically prove a religion is folly, but some can be disproven. Others can be supported by science, if not fully proven, but none have as much tangible evidence as the Catholic Church. Look up Eucharistic miracles, which have been scientifically verified as human heart tissue, all type AB blood, and some still bleed. These are not meant to prove once and for all to the unbelievers, but it’s as close as you’ll get. If you’re looking for that ultimate proof, you won’t find it, sorry. You’ll have to settle for support or disproof.

sure, hundreds of documented prophecies concerning the messiah. his birth, life, death and resurrection and ascension into heaven. All preannounced up to and beyond 1000 years of his coming.
all fulfilled in about 33 years of the life of Jesus Christ.
Odds of fulfilling one or two of these hundreds of prophecies is scientifically astronomical, but to fulfill them all, priceless.

oh, and when I asked him to come into my life and repented, he took the desire to be homosexual away from me.

I’m a pantheist. We believe in the Universe. We don’t deify it (make it into a “god”). We take it as it presents itself, but recognize that it has all the power, is responsible for bringing things into being and dismantling them again.

It is its own evidence of itself.

I believe my religion is true, but I’m not sure how one would judge the “superiority” of one religion over another. If truth is the yardstick, I think my religion is closer to Ultimate truth than many others. If the way a faith serves in a human life is the yardstick, then many faiths are capable of moving their believers to be their best self and contribute toward society.

Seriously, though, Christianity would say 1) asking that question is missing the point entirely, and 2) the resurrection of Jesus (though obviously we can’t perform an experiment to test it). If Jesus wanted to make the choice super-duper easy, he could have, but there is virtue in the struggle.

A good question, I will give you my humble example, firstly, could you please look at these snowflakes microscopic photos (or just Google snowflakes in images):

Secondly:

• See how precise and beautiful those snowflakes are, yet how tiny they are, who created them!, who set the rules for such precise shape!, there should be someone, isn’t it…
• Can we say that the one who set such rules or designs is the top creator of all lives on heavens and earth, can we say that…
• If no then how such amazing shapes are created, else we would find ugly and unbalanced shapes, don’t we…
• If yes, then can we call this top creator “The Most High God” from a religious point of view, can we…
• If we agreed on the above, then the religion that comes form The Most High God should be the true religion, can we agree on this one.

Now let us ask ourselves these questions:

• Who can walk on water.
• Who can command the wind and the rain to stop.
• Who can order the devils to flee.
• Who can cure the blindness.
• Who can cure the deafness.
• Who can raise the dead.

Now what Jesus was called in the Bible:

• The angels were calling Jesus Son of the Most High, (Luke 1:32).
• The devils were calling Jesus Son of the Most High, (Luke 8:27-28).
• The Most High God calling Jesus his Son, (Mark 1:11).

At last, who said:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End”…

Is it difficult to identify a play by Shakespeare… or a musical composition by Mozart… or a painting by Picasso?

I do not think that it would be very difficult for a connoisseur of the arts to do this because every one of these great master craftsmen of their respective trades would leave a distinctive mark in all of their masterpieces which would be identifiable as coming only from them and no one else.

Similarly, is it difficult at all to identify the work of the greatest ‘Master’ there is?

Islam teaches that the Qur’an is one such ‘Masterpiece’ and there is indeed a way to test and ascertain whether or not it does come from the greatest ‘Author’ of all.
