A Challenge to Karl Keating

Just wanna ask if his willing to have a One on One debate with Bro. Eli Soriano of the Old Path, and lets see if whos telling the truth and whos not. Catholics, what can you say? I invite you all to watch the event if only Mr. Karl keating will positively respond to the Challenge, hope this thread will not be erased and be suddenly closed by the Moderator like he did on my previous thread, hope for his respect.

It is great to serve the True God in a right manner, to serve and worship Him, according to His will, and conditions.

If this thread will suddenly close or erased by someone, it would only show one thing…They are Clear Losers and trying to avoid something.

why not go through the right channels and send a pm to one of the moderators?
Also, it will be fun to see Karl and others hang your false teachings out to dry.
Your church is one of many that ‘claims’ to be the real thing, but, like many others, it will be shown to be false.
Now why dont you run along, and try to challenge someone on your level, and not take on the big boys?
Why not challenge Muslims, they are also prone to false teachings?
Since both your church and Muslims have false teachings, the debate to try and outdo each other will be most hilarious to say the least.
Now, run along like a good person, and try to take someone on ‘your’ level. 😉

Better still, if your comment is for Karl Keating, send him a letter or email or phone call through Catholic Answers - contact details are listed at catholic.com/home/contact.asp

Your ‘challenge’ being for Karl Keating, coming on these public forums to get in touch with him is as silly as going on public television or radio.

lol Not even the INC want to have anything to do with Eli Soriano. He’s entertaining, but sadly his very literal interpretation of Scripture has made his teachings contradict themselves. The INC pokes fun at his many contradictions.
 
Why would Karl Keating want to debate a person whose personal life seems to be in jepardy and does not have a clear understanding of Christianity or the Scriptures he relies on?
 
This forum is not the proper venue for scheduling debates. Mr.Keating has done public debates on many occasions. If you are an official representative for the Old Path, you should contact Mr. Keating’s business office.

Not to speak for Mr. Keating but his apologetics outreach is pretty busy here in North America. What would the purpose be of a debate with the leader of a group that is virtually unknown outside of the Phillipines? Apologetic debates aren’t like two gladiators in a stadium. They are educational oportunities for the faithful. I can’t see who would be educated by a debate such as you propose. Although as dolphinlove pointed out, it could be entertaining. 😉
 
Debates don’t test the facts–they test the skills of the people debating. A debate is won by the person who provides the more compelling argument. Many people who are on the “untrue” side of an argument have won debates, popular approval and acclaim, and have even influenced law-makers. The person arguing the position the listeners want to hear (that they agrees with), is percieved as the winner. The abortion debate is the perfect example.

No, Eli Soriano’s sect is one that claims to be the one that came from the ancient Church, hence the old path. Of course, his claim is nothing new as it has been said by other denominations. What is new is his own twist to Scripture, which reduces it to countless contradictions.
