SOLEMN PRAYER ON GOOD FRIDAY FOR THE PERFIDIOUS JEWS, BEFORE THE NEW IMPROVED VERSION. THE WORD PERFIDIOUS APPEARS IN THE SCRIPTURES. THERE IS A CURSE ON ANYONE WHO ADDS OR SUBTRACTS FROM THE SCRIPTURES.

Let us pray, also, for the PERFIDIOUS Jews, that our Lord and God may take away the veil from their hearts, so that they, too, may acknowledge Jesus Christ our Lord. Almighty, eternal God, Who repellest not even Jewish faithlessness from Thy mercy, hearken to our prayers which we make in behalf of the blindness of that people, that, recognizing the light of Thy truth, which is Christ, they may be delivered from their darkness. Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Who livest and reignest, with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God

blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/damianthompson/8137324/Vatican_tells_Jews_to_stop_complaining/ The title sounds incindiary (sp?), but it’s not and it’s not a quote either. It explains the “perfidious Jews” thing some get huffy about these days. Jesus often criticized the Sanhedrin, those who blew off what he said, and even his own followers for their lack of faith. Israel has become secular as has many Jews in America and probably Europe. We should not only have “Jews” after “perfidious”, but also “Christians,” due to our perfidious behavior.

Cutting this prayer out was false charity, like not praying for the dead, because they (the dead)'ve been canonized via false charity (a great point made in Eastwood’s “Gran Turino (sp?)”].
I read the classic prayer also covered heretics and schismatics, which are many amongst us Christians.

In any case, it’s not in the 1962 Latin Mass missal, as Pope John 23rd removed it, so you can feel comfortable attending most ones (you better go to approved priestly communities Masses like those of the FSSP and ICKSP, so it’s licit). Sedevacantists might use an earlier version.
