A debate Thread B only scripture disagreeing

Hi,
There is another thread, thread A for scripture that agrees with these points.

1. I am two people, flesh and the inner man
2. Sin is in the flesh
3. The inner man can not sin and is resurrected.
4. Obey the Holy Spirit.

Hey what’s the point of two threads. You should just say “agree or disagree?” in the one thread and not start another thread. One thread, per person, per month is what I say.

You are not two people, and neither is the other you. We are one person who is spirit, soul and body (1 Thess 5:23) or simply “body and soul” (Matt 10:28). Look up the biblical references to flesh/spirit distinction in Galatians 5 and Romans 7-8. Some translations have “sinful desires” or “sinful nature” instead of flesh since it doesn’t seem to mean literal flesh there.

Hi Phil,
yeah I 'm wacked in the head and in a tangle with all these threads.
Thanks for the quotes and the distinction between flesh, nature and desires. Good point, I will have to check them out. I have asked a few people but I am still waiting for an answer on the question below.
