A Doctor's Poor Judgment?

I’ve been talking with my friend “Kim”. She’s 19 and was a victim of a DUI about 6 months ago now. A few days ago, Kim was told by her doctor that she’ll need to have her uterus and ovaries removed.

Today, Kim’s doctor told her that some of the tests that need to be performed are quite painful, especially if she’s never had sex before. Because she’s still a virgin, he hired a male escort for her.

I strongly objected to this idea, and recommended that she get a 2nd opinion. All of her doctors are male, and I’m trying to encourage her to go to a female doctor.

She hasn’t told her parents yet, and I’m absolutely lost on this one.

But, it sounds as if you should tell her parents what you’ve told us. Either the girl is telling crazy stories, or she’s got a crazy doctor who needs to be stopped.

A liscensed, practicing physician hired a male escort to have sex with his 19 year old patient–in order to make her hysterectomy less painful???

Yeah, I know it sounds crazy. That’s why I’m at an absolute loss. Trust me, I’m embarrassed I even posted this message. But stranger things have happened in this world.

I’m going to with her parents this evening to discuss this. Not being a female or havng any daughters, I have no experience on this.

I wouldn’t be surprised if her doctor was crazy.
