I have not watched EWTN for quite a while, but I know it would be good for my spiritual life to tune in to 1 or 2 programs each week.

Got a semi new show to recmmend?

I suppose some might benefit by hearing the tried and true ones, so if you wish, I won’t flag you for it, haha.

I guess no one watches EWTN anymore. 😦

I was exposed to retreats and spiritual teachings by Fr. Timothy Gallagher watching EWTN. I really like him.,

EWTN has introduced many good things into my devious little brain. I love the Saints…Bob and Penny Lord are / were a bit nutty, I must say, but Super Saints was pretty good on telling the story of various saints. 🙂

I love ewtn still but focus on the phone app. My favorites are
Celtic Connection
Morning Glory
World over,
Journey Home.
Ewtn News nightly
(I don’t like spitzers universe which just always seemed odd to me.)
Many don’t listen to ewtn as much I believe because people are preferring Relevant Radio. I recommend the app if you haven’t yet.

On relevant Radio App I recommend
-Patrick Madrid
+Simon Says

Celtic connection? Morning Glory? What are those about?

I used to watch a lot of The Journey Home. It’s good for people coming back into the faith or who were not catechised.
G.K. Chesterton, the apostle of common sense is fun for those with somewhat of a theatrical taste and also like philosophy and theology. I haven’t seen it on in awhile. Hope it will re-air.
Saints vs Scoundrels is another semi theatrical show that has two part series. My favorite is Henry VIII vs St Thomas Moore. A new one just aired, can’t wait to watch.
Then there’s a decent movie every now and then like Bakita or the many historical dramas of the popes. The one with Carey Ewill as JPII was good.

Hey Jamal,
Download Ewtn app on your phone and view the audio on demand section. You will see Celtic Connection and Morning Glory, there

I don’t think EWTN is making very many “new” shows these; there might be a money crunch going on 😦

i like father pacwa’s “threshold of hope” ray arroyo’s “the world over”

I think I would like Saints vs Scoundrels.

I’ll look it up now for the schedule.

Sunday (tomorrow) at 6 PM. Note to self. I’m at mass at that time, though. Schnitzel!!

We don’t get CatholicTV in our area. How are they different from EWTN?

It streams online, so, if you have the internet you can access it!

The network is simply a different network, like how ABC is differen than NBC. CatholicTV seems to take effort for their programs to be shot with more current technology.

Well ironically, one of their newest shows is news nightly. It’s about Catholic news and a Catholic take to politics. It’s fairly educational, I recommend it.

Never been a fan of spitzers. What’s with the glasses? Is he trying to be cool? I dunno, we all have our own taste I guess. 😋
