Hello, Prayer Warriors. I haven’t been here in almost 2 months, and I’m sorry for my absence, but know I’ve not forgotten you in my prayers. I have just been very tired and don’t spend much time on the computer.

I have come to beg prayers for Gert. She is going downhill. She is in her 90s, so with her health problems, it’s not surprising, but she is strong in spirit. Please pray for God to be merciful to her in every way.

And for a Father Hines who is a well loved priest in one of my brothers’ churches. He has a growth on his throat, and it doesn’t sound good.

And for a woman in Denmark named Ingrid who has breast cancer.

Lastly, please say a little prayer for me that the pain will ease up so I won’t have to keep taking more medication. I see my oncologist next week, but as of the last tests I had, I was still in remission from the cancer. Praise God. The pain is mostly in my back and other areas in bones. We don’t know what’s causing the other bone pain and some other problems. I’m still losing weight, but my appetite has improved. I’m sure prayer had much to do with that.

God bless everyone here, and again, know that I pray for all of you. Some by name, and others whom I don’t know, God does. Yes, He knows who you are, and I depend on Him to take my prayers for you. 🙂

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings in our lives and today we especially thank you for good friends and family who lift us up in prayer during our times of need and suffering. Please hear the prayers of your people for the intentions of our friend Peggy, and bless these intentions in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please grant our friend relief from pain, continued courage, increased stamina, and complete trust in your divine providence. Please send your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with all persons in Peggy’s intentions and have mercy on each, dear Lord.

Lord, we also say a prayer of thanksgiving for Peggy’s remission of cancer, and ask that your grant her continued recovery of health.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

Peggy your intentions are in my prayers.
I thank God that your cancer is in remission and ask the Lord to ease your pain.
I ask St Therese’s mother, Blessed Zelie Martin, who had breast cancer, but lacked the benefits and treatments of modern medicine, to pray for the Danish woman who has this illness
