A film about the persecution of Evangelical Christians in the USSR reminds me of the reality that has once again come to the so-called DNR and LNR

I think the world Christian community should take more concrete steps to stop the persecution
of Evangelical Christians on annexed territories, such as DNR,LNR.

STATEMENT of Heads of Evangelical Protestant Churches of Ukraine on religious persecution in the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts…

armed militants against evangelicals include abductions, beatings, torture, threats of execution, pogroms of places of prayer meetings, capture of prayer houses, rehabilitation centers and other places of worship and ancillary facilities, personal injuries and vandalism of the personal property of pastors and priests.

During May and June 2014 the abduction of people and the beating of evangelical pastors and ministers took place in Sloviansk, Horlivka, Donetsk and Druzhkivka. DNR and LNR terrorists not only disrupted the religious activities of evangelical Christians, but also captured the houses of worship to accommodate their own staff, and also to use them as hospitals and for gun placements. Such incidents have occurred repeatedly in Donetsk, Horlivka, Sloviansk, Shakhtarsk, Druzhkivka, Torez in the Donetsk Oblast, as well as in the Luhansk Oblast as well.

These sorts of crimes should be under the jurisdiction of local and national government. This reminds me of the old USSR, which stored munitions in Churches. The faithful Russian people returned in recent times to greater expression of their faith. However, criminals should be rounded up and given a fair trial. Knowing the history of the Ukraine, this is not very surprising. These partisans should be caught or if they fight legitimate authority, eliminated, since they are behaving like terrorists and irregular combatants.

In Lugansk, the property of the Evangelical communities no longer belongs to them, and Adventists are generally declared extremists.
The Protestants take their property out of the buildings of their communities and are in disarray and bewilderment.
