Please pray for my friend Megan. She is coming home from school, after her dad driving all night because she had a problem with anxiety. She was diagnosed with bipolar last year. Please pray this is something she can recover from, with few consequences, and I can help! Also, any advice would be appreciated!

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen

my empathies for your friend and may God bless you for trying to help her.
Mental diseases are not given the same kind of treatment and care or concern
as physical ailments. I was diagnosed as bi-polar which eventually turned out
to be major depression. It’s a rocky road, especially when family and/or friends
get tired of it and blame the person for not trying hard enough. and not understanding
that bi-polars brains do not have the chemicals that a so-called normal person has.
the two of you will have a lot to learn and alas here comes
St. Dymphna, to our aid!!!
“she is the saint and patron for those persons afflicted with nervous or mental disturbances”. there is much to her story, there is a novena for her and morning and
evening prayers to her. till you find more info about her and the internet and Catholic
sites with lists of the saints are a start, to look up.
in the meantime a simple, St. Dymphna please pray for me.
or St. Dymphna please pray for my friend. or St. Dymphna please help me help
my friend. if your friend is open to prayers right now I strongly urge her and you
(because you will need help with understanding her) just simply to start talking
to St. Dymphna, our Blessed Mother, and Jesus as you would talk to a friend.
they are all there waiting for each one of us and repeated conversations with
them from each of us is well worth the effort times a thousand and then some.
they are thee bestest friends we will ever have…formal prayers are always
good, of course, because they help to open our hearts and understanding.
I recently read that “prayer is a gift God gave us”…
I really strongly urge you to call on St. Dymphna more times than you
call your best friends. I am speaking from personal experience.
lastly the: Franciscan Mission Associates
274-280 West Lincoln Avenue
P.O. Box 598
Mount Vernon, New York 10551
is where you can find information about St. Dymphna and the novena. they probably
have a website but I do not know it. know that whoever has these prayers and says
them your friend is in our daily prayers, because we ask her to help all who have
mental, emotional, & brain disorders. if I can be of any more help in the future
just let me know at this site and where we get messages.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I once was best friends w/ a guy w/
bi-polar disorder, he refused to take
his Lithium medication and so had
manic episodes which caused him
to stay up all hours of the night hassling
the police and radio stations. He is a
lot better now, but he was a mixed blessing
to me and helped me out in many ways.
Prayers for you and your friend,
GLam

Hail holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope,
to you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve,
to you do we lift up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this Valley of Tears. Turn, then most gracious Advocate,
your eyes of mercy towards us and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus,
O clement, O loving, O kind Virgin Mary!
(Pray for us O holy Mother of God, that we may be made
worthy of the promises of Christ.)
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Megan. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Megan’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially Megan, for whom we now pray.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on her behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will. Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

Prayer for Peace of Mind

Fortify me with the grace of Your Holy Spirit,
and give Your peace to my soul
that I may be free from all needless anxiety,
solicitude, and worry. Help me to desire always
that which is pleasing and acceptable
to You so that Your will may be my will.
Through Christ Our Lord, amen.

– St. Frances Xavier Cabrini

Prayer for Hope

Dear Lord, you know of my recent recovery from years of severe depression. You know that I found a cure through scientific medicine. Help Megan, likewise, to find the right combination of treatments to restore her to a normal life. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
