Watched a programme last night on EWTN on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and was really moved by the image of Him taking a heart, putting it within His own and it being consumed by the flames of His love before putting it back where it came from. It reminded me of Isaiah having the flaming coal put to his lips to purify him.
I know very little about any devotions, really, apart from the rosary. The devotions to the hearts of Jesus and Mary have really touched me. I guess that means God is speaking to me through these devotions. Anyone else find them helpful to draw close to God?
