Is is true that a Patriarch or Emperor of Constantinople rejected the divinity of the Holy Spirit, and then later the fall of Constantinople occurred on a feast day related to the Holy Spirit? if so, which Patriarch/Emperor? the website I read this on says that it was Photius and Cerularius, and then talks about the fall of Constantinople “3 years later”, but these people lived several centuries prior to 1493.

Does anyone know the truth on this?

Thank you 🙂

I havent heard any credible source that says that is true. May 29 has no Feast Day for the Holy Spirit. I would disregard the info.
