I have seen the way they baptize them… they “do use” a Trinitarian way of baptizing. They do say in the name of Father, son and the holy spirit in their own way, but remember that the Father is Jehovah, the son is Jesus the created human, and the holy spirit is Jehovah’s active force… not God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit…

The Dateline NBC show aired around June 2002. It dealt with families that had been disfellowshipped for taking issues of sexual abuse in their JW congregations to outside authorities (ie, the police).

You’d be surprised to see how much they tolerate any type of abuse… they want to keep the name of their “religion” clean, so they do not go to the authorities for any of this… Most keep quiet and when they don’t they are shunned! Poor people, what way of life they have…

Yes, this kind of nonsense would have and does have some people beliving the JWs do not and cannot sin. But, surprise surpise, the JWs I know personally are just as sinful as many Catholics I know.

Ha…if they look at who they are, they are just the same or even worse sinners than TRUE Christians. We are all sinners. A few examples of JWs in the same congregation… DH was not a virgin when we married, in fact, he had been w/3 other girls… now that we’re married he regrets that. My SIL has been with many men, has a child out of wedlock, and is still sinning because she’s dating several guys and sleeping w/2. Another guy in that one congregation was sleeping with his girlfriend for several months and got her pregnant. Because she got pregnant they had to “confess”. 3 other girls moved out of their parents’ home to live w/ their boyfriends… in the same place… some guy kept of raping his little girl… (good thing this one is actually in jail)… see my point?

JWs are arrogant. I’m sorry to say it, but they are. They think that being honest and admitting to being false prophets makes Russell and Rutherford respectable!

Arrogant, that’s nothing! They are worse than that, let’s add hypocrites… calling Russell and Rutherford prophets… and they always claim Jesus was the last prophet and say that false prophets will not live on Paradise Earth… nor will they because they are claiming that JWs are the one TRUE religion… sorry, but what they are is a CULT. Brainwashing people is not Christian. Oh, plus being Christian actually means believing in the Trinity… they don’t, therefore, they are not Christian.

I have a nice story… some JW’s came to my grandma’s door and I was surprised she actually even took the time to speak to them. She’s a very VERY DEVOUT Catholic and usually tells them not to waste their time because she’s A Roman Catholic. In Mexico the usual response you give to a JW is I am an Apotolic Roman Catholic… and they run away… so, one man asked her if she knew what it meant to be Apostolic. My grandma said, “yes, it means I beliefe all the apostles wrote about our Lord Jesus Christ” THey were left with their mouths dropped…:bigyikes: they left it at that…
