That’s so awesome of your grandma!!! I would LOVE to have that much to spend. I don’t even spend that on 10 family members but also make most of the gifts. I design tee shirts for the all the kids.

What about the various art kits they sell at Michaels? Or A C Moore? They had them on sell for 8.00 dollars the other day,. OUr son gets one big Santa gift and then 2 small gifts. Last year it was a Playmobil pirate ship from target. You could also check Marshalls, TJ Max and Ross who all have great deals on nice toys.

Enjoy being able to buy awesome gifts for your kids:)

Just a thought- I’m finding toys cheaper online, and I’m looking for the best possible rock-bottom price, live or online, before I purchase. Like the Frugal Zealot, Amy Dacyczyn, I am not above shopping at flea markets and thrift stores for Christmas presents. Some of my best finds have included those doll houses I showed everybody when we were talking about them last year, doll house furniture, another doll house that is bigger and folds to store, LEGO, Barbie clothes including shoes.
I love the FZ - have the tightwad books. Most of the best presents that I have bought over the years have been from thrift shops or rummage sales. I am kicking myself for not rummaging more this summer (could have found a bucket of kids stuff for my niece.) Next year, though!!!
