A message of living

I wonder if this ‘message of living’ is the appropriate one to send to the non-christian world? Even our non-catholic brothers and sisters have to be astonished by a church that preaches sharing, loving and giving when some clergy seek status and luxury in-lue of the ‘Good News’…

I am not trying to pass judgement but I have to ask “What Jesus would do?”. Your thoughts?

Pope Francis’ message of living in humility and modestly is powerful. Recently it was revealed that the Arch Bishop of Atlanta was living in a 2.2 million dollar mansion that was donated to the Diocese of Atlanta. A delegation of parishioners met with the Arch Bishop to express their concern and the Arch Bishop decided to put the mansion on the market and to move out. It was the right thing to do.
I was greatly sadened to read the article on Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone. It is concerning that the Cardinal has chosen to live in an opulent flat. The message that this sends is in complete contradiction with the charism of Pope Francis. It is truly unfortunate.
