Happy Thanksgiving to whom it applies!

There is plenty about modernity and the times we live in to grumble about, but what about our current age are you thankful for?

If you come here to complain, no pie for you.

If you do it anyway, you’re THAT uncle.

I am thankful for contact lenses, premade crescent roll dough in scary explode-ish cans, a significantly decreased chance of dying in child birth, and connecting with folks like you on the internet.

As someone who had a raging infection in my arm last month, I am seriously thankful for antibiotics.

As a woman whose son was born purple, with no heartbeat, and unable to breathe, I am thankful for heart monitors, for oxygen tanks, for the NICU, for Flight-For-Life, and for medical training – for everything that brought my child back from death and gave us a strong, healthy, brilliant child who just turned 15!

I am 51 years old and gave birth without pain medication – but I am TERRIFIED of those stupid exploding cans. 😂

My fear is outweighed by the ease with which I can make experimental bread creations I surely wouldn’t have wasted the effort on otherwise. Somedays you just want to know what else you can wrap in crescent dough.

I’m grateful for my power tools, I have favourites but the humble power saw is probably the best.

Years ago before power saws men had to saw manually, they were eventually built like gorillas 🦍 and died young. Now they still look like gorillas but live far longer. Humble power saw …we salute you!

I’m thankfull for my kids even the 14 year old for my home and for all of life’s experiences( I have to take the good with the bad beacuse some of the worst experiences have brought me the most positive things)
Oh and my car definately thankfull I have my car

Would it be the noisiest too. Everytime my Fiance starts his up the neighbours come over to see what he’s up too usually hes building something for the kids or me a new planter box or a bench seat

Power saw drill and hammer are my fiancee favourite power tools mr 11 loves his lawn mower

And me: wd40 and duct tape are the only tools I need if it moves and it shouldn’t, use the duct tape. if it doesn’t move and it should use the wd40 ( other than the washing machine, iron, vacuum cleaner and sewing machine of course)

At this moment, I’m thankful for my electric oven, so I can roast a turkey without having to guess how much more wood or coal should go into the stove to get it to (and maintain it at) the correct cooking temperature.

I can barely make a turkey with modern appliances!

I’m thankful for gallon-sized ziploc bags.

Seriously I use those bad boys to store everything
