Hi all! Nearly everyone on the forum is pro-life and many of us prayer Rosaries and Novenas, etc. on a regular basis to end abortion and euthanasia, which is a great way to offer our prayers for this noble intention.

I want to propose a more modest way for those who don’t have the time or desire to pray Rosaries and Novenas, etc. My dh and I have been offering just one Hail Mary at each meal (at home) for this intention for quite some time. It’s quick and easy, and even better, we actually do it instead of making promises to do more that we often can’t fulfill.

You may want to do something else that works for you, but I think the simpler we make it for ourselves the more likely we will actually do it. And considering the way our society is more and more embracing the culture of death, it’s good to be offering some prayer for this intention daily, even if it’s not a lot.

Well, if you do an Our Father and two Hail Marys when you wake up, a Hail Mary before and after each meal and two more with the Glory Be and O My Jesus before bed, you’ve done a decade of the Rosary!

And that’s fine, but not really my point. 🙂 My point is that we ought to be doing some prayer, even if it’s only 3 times a day or random aspirations and other such simple prayers for our pro-life intentions–so that we actually do it.

Fair enough … point well made, even though it zoomed right past me :o

Hmmm…time considerations. So many other worthy ideas to pray for. How many intentions can you load a rosary down with?😦

Most of my intentions are for the poor souls in Purgatory. One wonders how many souls of abortions wind up there? If they do, I guess I am helping them out as best I can, within my current limits.😦
